How to use NoteCards

Click '+ New card'

The button is in the left sidebar on Dashboard or in the top menu.

Write a title and content

Markdown is supported — you can bold text, make lists, add headings.

Add category and tags

Category helps group cards. Tags — for more flexible filtering.

Choose visibility

A public card is visible to everyone via link and in the feed. Private — only to you.

Open a card

Go to any of your cards.

Click '+ Connect'

The button is in the right column in the 'Connections' section.

Find a card to connect

Start typing a title — the system will show matching cards.

Choose connection type

Related / Supports / Contradicts / Deepens / Source — choose the right one.

Open the graph

Click 'Knowledge graph' in the Dashboard sidebar.

Explore connections

Each node is a card. Lines between them are connections. Line color shows the connection type.

Navigate the graph

Click and drag to move. Mouse wheel to zoom. Click a node to open the card.

Mini-graph on card

Every card page has a mini-graph showing its nearest connections.

AI suggests connections

Open a card and click '✨ AI suggests connections'. AI will analyze the content and suggest 3-5 related cards with explanations.

Confirm or skip

For each suggestion you can click 'Add connection' or 'Skip'. AI doesn't add connections automatically.

Synthesis of related notes

If a card has 2+ connections — a button '✨ Synthesize N related notes' appears. AI analyzes the whole chain and creates a new insight.

Save the insight

The synthesis result can be saved as a new card, copied or redone.

Every new user gets 3 free AI credits upon registration.

1 credit = 1 AI request

Each AI feature call (connections or synthesis) uses 1 credit.

Go to the 'Shop' section — packages of 10, 50 and 100 credits are available.

Balance in Dashboard

Your current credit balance is shown in the Dashboard header next to the ✨ icon.

Create a vault

On your first attempt to create a private card, the system will ask you to create a vault with a password.

Choose a strong password

The password is used for encryption. If you forget it — content cannot be recovered. Keep it somewhere safe.

AES-256-GCM encryption

Private cards are encrypted right in the browser before being sent to the server. We physically cannot read their content.

Unlocking

Each new session requires entering the vault password to decrypt private cards. The key is stored only in browser memory.

Click the export button

The Dashboard header has a '↓ Export' button — with label on desktop, icon on mobile.

A JSON file will download

The file contains all your cards with titles, content, tags and categories.

Keep a backup

We recommend exporting weekly and storing in Google Drive or iCloud.
